Quiet night...

Rob is still resting quietly tonight. Not much new to report. He's handling his sedation level very well and might wake up a little more tomorrow as the medication has time to get out of his system. The sedation drug stores itself in your fat cells so he could have a lot of it stored up inside still even though he's not getting much of it from the IV anymore. But that will wear off. It can have withdrawl effects so they have to continue to do it slowly. His PEEP level is still at a 9 but they were able to bring his oxygen level down to 40% so that is great. The lower he can get the better. He's making progress without many set backs right now.

Otherwise things are great. No fever today at all and his belly pressure is normal. It's been so good that they aren't even going to keep checking it like they were. So things are looking up for him. I'm hoping for a good day tomorrow and that he can wake up a little more.
