Rehab commenced...

We have arrived and checked into Ottumwa Regional Health Center to start Rob's rehab. It's not as bad as he expected and he has a private room with a much more comfortable bed that he had before. He's so relieved for that. The bed was the first thing he checked out. He's had an initial evaluation with both OT (Occupational Therapy) and PT (Physical Therapy). They will work with him at least 3 hours a day to get his strength and dexterity back. He has expressed his intentions to them to return home soon so they are well aware that he doesn't plan on staying long. I hope we don't have a long stay either. Just enough to make sure he's ok to return home safely.
