Full Strength???

Rob has done great over the past several weeks since he's been home. He's back to doing about everything that he did before he was sick. He has had a few follow up appointments and they have all gone very well. He is down to checking his blood sugar 2 times a day every other day and his sugar level has been good. So that's a great sign that the pancreas is functioning well again. He is on a couple different medications to help lower his triglyceride level. So far his triglyceride level hasn't shot back up to where it was before he got sick but it is still considered quite high. So hopefully those medications will help lower and maintain it. He will more than likely be on those medications for the rest of his life.

He is set to go back to work on November 6th. His doctor feels that he should be ready for 5 full days of work in a row by that point. He is hesitant to rush things since Rob was so sick for so long. But it will be nice that he will still be home when we have the baby.

Speaking of, we're prepared for the arrival at any time now. We are seeing the doctor every week now and I have started to dilate. So hopefully sooner rather than later, we'll have our little bundle of joy. We're both very excited and can't wait to bring our little one home. My due date is Oct 26th so we're still 4 weeks from that but we've been told to be ready for any time.

So all in all, things have worked out good for us. Rob is home and well and the baby is soon to follow. We know that we couldn't have expected this great outcome to such a scary situation without the huge amount of prayers that went up for us. Thank you again!

Hopefully we'll have some news to post about the baby soon!
